ability to MERGE client records
If a duplicate client account does get created
(e.g. made online on BRM - but customer already exists in Lightspeed)
we need to support a merge of records, which updates LS & BRM with the merge.2 votes -
create a bike return time option instead of duration hours
We experience people holding exactly to the minute how long they keep the bike. We would like them to understand the bike needs to be returned by a specific time, say 5pm instead of a duration of time.

Recurring Rental Billing
We have people who rent an item for 9 months or more with a monthly billing rate. It would be awesome to have the system automatically bill the individual on a set day of the month.

Provide upselling messages in BRM so staff can be prompted at key stages of the sales process
As the staff member is creating the rental ticket, popup reminder messages at key stages such as

Lightspeed Integration - share inventory between LS and BRM
Today the Lightspeed Integration shares Transactions and Customers.
The idea would be to allow the creation of inventory in Lightspeed and then importing it into BRM. (and perhaps vice- versa)0 votes -

We are considering creating an API for BRM
(we may perhaps use zapier.com too)
please give us your ideas for use cases, here are some of ours:- import reservations from external systems
- import clients from external systems
- export reservations to google calendar
- send an SMS when problems occur - late rentals, broken bikes etc
- send SMS when reservations due back
- export customers to mailchimp or similar

Bypass of Category Selection in OBW When Only One Category to be Displayed
When only one category will be displayed can the OBW automatically skip the category selection step? It is currently confusing for customers so a potential point to drop the booking.

fixed price discounts
currently BRM supports discount codes which set a % discount code.

Discount codes for partner websites
If you have a partner (Hotel,Shop...) who adds a booking link on his website it is a wonderfull idea, but to have an overview it would be wonderfull if when te link gets klicked a discount code for this partner will be automaticaly inserted in the discount panel on the online booking wizzard so I can see how often clients from this partner have booked my bikes without they have to insert and remember the code.

Allow for a photo for each bike to viewed within BRM
We have a fleet of 160+ used bicycles that are rented to students and we'd like to be able to attach a photo of each individual bike within BRM.

Can I ask why the students need to see the the actual bike image? Rather than an indicative image? -
create a 'non-maintenance' class of item
some things, like protective gear etc are listed as inventory but doesn't require maintenance.

Many renters also do 'limited retail' like selling snacks, accessories etc.
