  1. create a 'non-maintenance' class of item

    some things, like protective gear etc are listed as inventory but doesn't require maintenance.
    Option to 'turn off' the battery for these items perhaps?

  2. use BRM for client-facing bike repairs

    BRM maintenance was designed for your rental inventory.
    Should we extend it so you can do repairs of your customers bikes (for a fee)?
