which payment platforms should BRM / RSM support?

Show how many times discount codes have been used with total figures and list of all reservations made using each code
For each discount code, show total sales that have been made using that code, the total discount given and list each individual sale that used that code.

Update the post ride email for more functionality
We do mainly day and overnight rentals in a tourism town and I'd love to use BRM Post Ride Emails but they lack a little bit of customization and features. Currently using Tripadvisor Review express which ends up with a lot of double handling of email address unfortunately. Main reason for using Tripadvisor Review Express is for 2 reasons: 1. The ability to send 'follow up emails' if customers don't leave a review (or click your link) after you have sent them the email. This method generates an amazing amount of interaction when it send the second email a week…

Scrolling between reservations
Able to scroll previous search querys' reservations inside each reservation (i.e. Arrows to shift from reservation to reservation without having to go back to list of reservations, while maintaining the list in searched query form.)

Deep link direct to a product (product line)
It would be great (for catalogue based websites) if you could deep-link directly into a product (product line) from a product image 'book now' link / button.

Split Reservations into new ones from details..
Sometimes a booking starts out as a group booking, then someone wants to break out (coz they want different dates / bikes etc).
Would be nice if you could simply drag and drop out the relevant detail, and create a reservation from it2 votesthis is a biggy. But perhaps one day.

make it optional to display extras at Product Line stage
Imagine the following scenario. You are using HIVO mode. You have lots of extras. Customers frequently book 4 bikes and some extras. But when you select extras for 4 bikes it multiplies your choices across all 4 bikes. It might make more sense to not display the options until the 'shopping cart' stage of the online booking.

Charge clients in multiple currencies
We often take payments in multiple currencies, it would be helpful to have the system accept USD, as well as our local currency

Recurring Rental Billing
We have people who rent an item for 9 months or more with a monthly billing rate. It would be awesome to have the system automatically bill the individual on a set day of the month.

Customer Account
Creation of accounts for clients making several reservations over the season and wanting a global invoice at the end.

Add role solely for reporting
We are a large company with dedicated ecommerce and marketing teams. These teams would like to have access to BRM reporting and the ability to view graphs, etc. However, currently there is not reporting specific role. In order to give them the access they need to do their job they are also able to edit live inventory which is something we do not want to allow. Please add a reporting specific role!

Perform actions on all reservations within group
a cool feature would be to be able to change status (i.e confirmed to checkout) of reservations under same group name at once.instead of having to open each one of them one by one.

Discount codes for partner websites
If you have a partner (Hotel,Shop...) who adds a booking link on his website it is a wonderfull idea, but to have an overview it would be wonderfull if when te link gets klicked a discount code for this partner will be automaticaly inserted in the discount panel on the online booking wizzard so I can see how often clients from this partner have booked my bikes without they have to insert and remember the code.

Allow for a photo for each bike to viewed within BRM
We have a fleet of 160+ used bicycles that are rented to students and we'd like to be able to attach a photo of each individual bike within BRM.

Can I ask why the students need to see the the actual bike image? Rather than an indicative image? -
search
Allow search function to be less dependent on date range. Search should function simply based on general terms (customer name, reservation ID, etc...) without having to add too many specifics. Search should be quick and simple.

many thanks for your suggestion.
It is a delicate balance, and each search performs differently based on what it is doing. It shows if it uses the date or not with the highlighter. The idea is to do just what you say, quick and simple searches. For example 24hr mode doesn’t require dates, it just looks for ‘stuff happening’ today.
However searching by name is different. Some of our clients have been with us for many years, so we can’t search everything coz that would be slow. For that reason most people set dates to ‘this year’ and only adjust if they are doing something special. Thats the trade off between, ease, speed and power.
Does that make sense?
