  1. Seasonal pricing (multiple price groups for same asset)

    can items have different pricing according to the season? e.g. low season pricing and high season pricing.

  2. Retail-lite

    Many renters also do 'limited retail' like selling snacks, accessories etc.
    Could BRM / RSM be extended to accommodate selling a small range of goods alongside rental?

  4. Include a sorting option when printing a snapshot.

    It would be great to be able to sort by client when printing a snapshot, so that all their bikes could be setup (grouped together with attachments) ready to go for when they turn up.

  5. Could BRM send an automatic message to clients when confirmed status is hit

    when payment is received in an off-line manner, ie bank transfer cheque etc, give user the option to send an automatic payment notifation to the user.

    and prompt if we don't have their email address.

  6. create an API for BRM

    We are considering creating an API for BRM
    (we may perhaps use zapier.com too)
    please give us your ideas for use cases, here are some of ours:

    • import reservations from external systems
    • import clients from external systems
    • export reservations to google calendar
    • send an SMS when problems occur - late rentals, broken bikes etc
    • send SMS when reservations due back
    • export customers to mailchimp or similar

  7. Let Reservations contain assets with varying dates

    so you could include parites that want bikes for different durations.
    or so you could cater for tour companies who want to book other assets, such as minibuses and hotels for varying durations

  8. have booking ID's to match the date of the booking

    It would be nice to have Booking ID's match up with the date the booking is made to be more easily understandable for customers and staff. The current format can be confusing at times to the rental customer.

  10. Sort reservations using delivery address

    Possibility to sort reservations by delivery address or city so we can easily find out if we have the possibility to offer a discount on delivery fee.

  11. auto-extend late rentals

    late rentals would automatically be extended by the system.
    until they are returned - or until they hit an existing scheduled rental.

  12. Offer a way to give mid week discounts.

    I'd like bikes, mid week, to be cheaper they the same bike are on the weekends.

  13. Show how many times discount codes have been used with total figures and list of all reservations made using each code

    For each discount code, show total sales that have been made using that code, the total discount given and list each individual sale that used that code.

  15. extra's that behave like inventory (and track stock levels)

    It would be a great feature to have Extras (e.g. pedals etc) that track inventory levels. In other words, they would behave like extras - in that they are added to other inventory, but they would also track inventory levels.

  16. Scrolling between reservations

    Able to scroll previous search querys' reservations inside each reservation (i.e. Arrows to shift from reservation to reservation without having to go back to list of reservations, while maintaining the list in searched query form.)

  19. Charge clients in multiple currencies

  20. Recurring Rental Billing

    We have people who rent an item for 9 months or more with a monthly billing rate. It would be awesome to have the system automatically bill the individual on a set day of the month.
