Top-Tip - Searching within a Page

  Searching within a Page

Sometimes it's useful to search for something within a webpage.  Perhaps you have a large list of bikes on screen, or a list of lots of reservations.

Its a little-known feature of web-browsers that you can use CTRL-F (or CMD-F on a mac) to bring up a search field.  type in what you're looking for and hit return.

It will find if your search string exists on your page, and if so, take you to however many occurrences there are on your page.  Even if the text was not currently shown due to scrollbars etc.

Its a very handy little feature that I use all the time.
