Adding, Swapping & Removing inventory in a reservationIt is quite normal that after you've made a reservation, stuff is going to change. For example, inventory may be added, removed or swapped out for different items.
All of these situations are easily catered for in the system in a few easy steps.
step 1
Go into Reservations-Search on the menu bar on the left hand side, select the reservation, then find your list of inventory - at the bottom of your reservation. Then right click on an asset and it will bring up the following menu:
This will let you:
- add an asset - choose new asset from a list or by ID
- swap the currently selected asset - choose new asset from a list or by ID
- remove the currently selected asset
Once you've chosen your new items, you simply drag in the actual one you're interested in, and drop it in your list of assets for that reservation.

By default, the switch assets window is populated with assets of the same category and will show the date range of the respective reservation.
If you would like to use new assets from a different category, you just need to right-click within the Switch Assets window.
This will allow you to bring in new categories, as show here:
once you've finished pulling in assets from your different category or categories, right click again and 'refresh availability'
But wait it won't let me swap??
if you're working in GBAL mode then you will see something different when you try to add swap:
This is because in GBAL mode BRM lists your products by Product Line (the yellow folders).
but you can't (currently) swap in a Generic.
So you need to open the yellow folder and swap in an item belonging to that Product line:
