Digital waivers - capture signature in-store

When your customers book online they agree to your terms and conditions.
But often these are your terms and conditions for doing business online, not a waiver for renting your equipment.
Also BRM / RSM can't capture a signature because your customer may not be on a device with a touch screen.

The traditional workflow is to print off a paper-based waiver from BRM and capture a physical signature.

But one workflow we've been looking at in the future is the following...

  • Customer books online. (creating a reservation and user account)
  • Customer arrives in store to collect items.
  • Staff find reservation and press a 'beam now' button to send the existing user account to a dedicated tablet
  • that tablet receives the current user information, and prompts for the signature.
  • the signature is added to the existing user account

Therefore achieving fully paperless workflow even for online bookers.
