Also BRM / RSM can't capture a signature because your customer may not be on a device with a touch screen.
The traditional workflow is to print off a paper-based waiver from BRM and capture a physical signature.
But one workflow we've been looking at in the future is the following...
- Customer books online. (creating a reservation and user account)
- Customer arrives in store to collect items.
- Staff find reservation and press a 'beam now' button to send the existing user account to a dedicated tablet
- that tablet receives the current user information, and prompts for the signature.
- the signature is added to the existing user account
Therefore achieving fully paperless workflow even for online bookers.
