1.immediacy.  BRM detects the immediacy of each rental.  Meaning if the rental is for right now it creates a confirmed rental.  Provisional reservations only really help for future rentals, so immediate rentals skip and go straight to confirmed.   More info here.

• Future 1
• Immediate 0
• Past -1

2.reservation type setting.  You can actually override the start stage for each reservation type. The default is provisional, but you can set to confirmed. Though we don't recommend this under most circumstances. More info here.
