Manage Fleet - making minor updates to bikesYou need to be careful here, you don't want to make BIG CHANGES to your fleet.
Because your reservations point to items in your fleet.
But lets say you want to change the names (ID2) you give your bikes. This is simply an attribute of your bike, so no problem, read on....
You have two choices;
- do within BRM, editing each bike's name one at a time
- do within your spreadsheet. Change your ID2 column. NEVER change your ID column of course.VALIDATE & UPLOAD.
Changes you want to be careful about...
1. you buy a new bike to replace an old one.
don't be tempted to MODIFY the old bike to have the new bike's information.
You should archive the old bike and then add the new
2. you change the frame size of a bike,
beware that your Product Lines (aka generic) depend on your sizes. So you will be actually modifying the shape of your fleet.

3. you change the name of your product lines
beware coz this will create new product lines! but you may have bookings against old product lines
