Hiding the application menu (nav bar)

The application menu, or nav-bar as we sometimes call it, is a pretty constant feature in BRM / RSM. Situated on the left hand side of the application it lets you navigate between the different pages of the app.

However, depending on the device you use, you may be short on screen real-estate (width!). This can be the case if you use specific bits of hardware for specific jobs;
- iPad / tablet for checking out bikes in EVO mode
- a POS terminal with touch-screen for creating rental tickets. Here you will probably have a fixed width monitor, often limited to 1024 pixels of width.
You can now do that by pressing on the 'menu' button in the top of the application:
Please note however:
- it will re-load the whole application when you do this, so you would lose any work you were in the middle of (though BRM saves most things as you go along)
- it will remember your menu hiding choice per user, so if you share logins you may get un-expected results.
