Creating rental tickets - Point of Sale mode

Creating rental tickets - POS mode (AKA express mode)

Point of Sale (POS) mode is all about entering the data about a rental in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Choose product(s) (What?)
  • Choose duration (When?)
  • which customer (Who?)
  • book!
You can use it when you know the ID's of the products you're renting, and it's for SAME-DAY rentals.

Here is the workflow in more detail....
simply:
  1. enter product code(s).  For more than one simply put a comma or full-stop between them.
  2. select your duration

Then BRM will verify the product(s) are indeed available for the times you selected, and assuming it is, will allow you to

      3. enter in client last name
      4. make the booking

Please note that you can configure BRM to default to POS mode or BROWSE Mode - and it will also remember the last mode for each user.
you can also specify which time durations you use in your shop. (e.g 1hr, 2hrs etc)

Part of EVO - book & pay

Finally, please also note that you can use POS mode for booking specific bikes or generic bikes.  Let's just say you're a high volume bike operation.  You want to take bookings & payment without knowing the exact specific bikes the customer will eventually ride off with. (that is done later).
Here, we recommend you use POS mode in conjunction with product sheet:

Each time you create a reservation in this way it will be generic, and you can then allocate a specific bike later, as part of your EVO flow.
