Problem Solving - refresh BRM

From time to time we will ask you to refresh BRM in your browser.  To do this you simply press F5 on a PC or cmd-R on a mac and it reloads BRM automatically- back to the same page you were on.
(its the equivalent of a reboot on computer - or turning it off and on again.  However because it runs in a browser it only takes a few seconds to reload)

This may be for a number of reasons:
  • we have done a software update overnight.  ( when we do a software update we automatically request a refresh at the same time, but your machine may be sleeping when we request this - so occasionally you may get errors and need to refresh)
  • someone else in your shop has changed a shop-setting and you need to download that setting into your version of BRM
  • you make a big change yourself - like adding a fleet - and you now need your version of BRM to download this fleet.
  • there is some sort of bug which has stopped BRM from working properly - if this happens please use the SNAPSHOT button to notify us - we can't fix bugs if we don't know about them.

As a general rule you shouldn't need to REFRESH BRM, apart from during initial setup.  Please let us know if you find yourself regularly using refresh and we'll address the problem.
