Once your users have selected a type of bike (category) they will be shown the product lines belonging to that category.

for example this Ridgeback Electron Plus in the 'Electric' Category:

Adding Actual Bike Images (i.e. your product lines, not your categories)

for when users navigate to the actual bikes, in this stage of the online booking process..

Again this is done on the Fleet -> ManageFleet -> AssetHierarchy page:
1. First you need to press the 'generic' button, because we're dealing not with our specific bikes, but how they look on the wizard, which displays generic bikes.

It will look something like this:


2. Now you need to to add an image for each of your generic assets, eg.g. in the example above 'Colnago ace-U-52cm', 'Colnago ace-U-48cm', etc

Press the 'plus' button under image, for each of these rows, upload your image and press okay
(N.B. you can update all the generics in a range with the same image, e.g. for multiple sizes to share the same image)

Adding 'Extras' images

The online booking wizard comes with pre-loaded images for most of your extras.
For each extra you decide which image is most relevant:
 this will then appear on the online booking wizard for your customers to see:

Adding your own image/picture for extras

You can add your own picture for your extras. They need to be 100x100 in size with transparent background and in .png format. Remember to press SAVE.

You want to keep the extra names as short as possible in BRM and can choose to show more details for customers in your online tool. Remember to click SAVE.

Adding Notes / Info

to add notes / information do the same thing, but click on the 'plus' buttons in the Notes column. Don't forget to have your text in your clipboard so you can just paste into each note window, then modify if necessary.






N.B. we're aware that this is a bit time consuming as you have to repeat the same image for multiple sizes and we're working on it:

1. to make it more easy to share images across sizes
2. potentially to pull in bike data, including images, tech-spec, from a central source.

Adding Suggested Sizings

suggested sizings are very useful for two reasons:

1. it gets them in the right order on your wizard:  (S, M and L are not numbers, so BRM doesn't know which order they should be in - same applies to 57cm, 52cm etc) So you need to give BRM some help to get them displayed in the right order in the wizard.

It is, of course, only a guide and doesn't take into account leg length etc, but it gives your clients some assistance in the tricky job of choosing the right sized bike.  Don't forget its just a guide, and heights might well overlap.  E.g. Small = 1.57->1.68, Medium = 1.65-> 1.75  (for example).  BRM automatically converts to Metres and Cms and client can switch between the two.

To set the suggested sizes you first need to make sure your BRM is set wide enough to be able to see the columns.  The columns are called from and to and are found just to the right of the prices column in the Fleet->Manage Fleet-> Hierarchy Management:
